OLMC FUTURES FUND has started! We are very proud of OLMC and we invite you to be part of this community by participating in our “OLMC Futures Fund”.
Thank you to all who participated in the Alumni Basketball Tournament held over Christmas vacation. If you played, reffed, sold refreshments or cheered, you were a great asset to this now annual event. Please mark you calendars and share the good news with others for another great time next year.
“Lights, Camera, AUCTION! Take 2? will take place on Saturday, May 8, 2010. Do you know anyone or perhaps a business who would donate to our auction? With everyone’s help, our 2nd annual auction can be even more successful that last year. Just contact the advancement office for more information.
PA businesses, including all Subchapter S Corporations, LLC, Limited Partnerships, and General Partnerships are eliigible to participate in the Educational Incentive Tax Credit Program, (EITC)This is a unique program that allows PA businesses to make a charitable gift to Our Lady of Mount Carmel School based on the amount of state taxes it pays, and in return, the business receives a 90% tax credit. A gift of $10,000 earns a $9,000 tax credit. Moreover, the gift can then be claimed on the business’s federal tax return. The gift of $10,000 to OLMC will cost your business practically nothing. If you would like to partner with Our Lady of Mount Carmel School to direct your state tax dollars to OLMC this will help many students receive tuition assistance. There is currently over 10 million dollars available in Harrisburg for this incentive program. The paperwork is minimal and you would be helping a great cause. Please consider.
