OLMC Summer Program is a wonderful place for working parents to send their children. Weekly
themes and special events keep the children occupied daily. Wednesday field trips to places like Pymatuning Deer Park, Splash Lagoon and Waldameer are always a lot of Fun! If you are looking for a safe and fun atmosphere for your children this summer, then you’re looking at OLMC. Registrations are now being accepted for our Summer Program. To reserve your child’s spot and receive a free camp T-shirt, fill out the registration form and send in to the school office by May 31, 2012.
DATES: June 11 to August 17 (Closed July 4, 2012)
DAYS: Monday-Friday
HOURS: 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
AGE: School Age (Grades K-6)
We will have three groups, K-1, 2-3 and 4 and up. If you have more than one child in an age group and you would like one of them moved, please let us know. We reserve the right to a two-week trial period for your child. If your child is having difficulties in our program, we will work together to come up with a solution.
REGISTRATION: There is a $25.00/child; $35.00/ family NON REFUNDABLE fee due at the time of registration.
PAYMENT FEE: Payment is due the first day of attendance each week. Receipts will be given for your records. There is no fee charged for vacation days or days when your child does not attend our program.

MEALS: We will provide your child with a balanced breakfast and lunch. Please refer to the monthly menu to see what is being served each day. We will also provide your child with an afternoon snack and juice. If needed, your child may bring his/her meals from home.
SCHEDULE: Each day will be filled with a variety of fun and exciting indoor and outdoor activities. There will be one activity each day centered on our weekly theme. In addition, one ‘’special” activity will be planned daily. Various programs will be scheduled throughout the summer as well. We will have designated days for rollerblading, bike riding, water activities, and trips to Burton Park and Dairy Queen. All of this will assure that your child has a great summer experience. Look for all these events, and more, on the monthly calendar. A sample daily schedule is as follows:

11:00-12:00 – Outdoor play12:00-12:30 – Lunch12:30-3:00 – Gym/Outdoor play/multipurpose room free play3:00-3:30 – Snack3:30-5:30 – Free play5:30 – Closed for the dayFIELD TRIPS: OLMC will provide weekly field trips to places such as Waldameer Park, Splash Lagoon, Pymatuning Deer Park, Seawolves Game, Pennbriar Wave Pool, Meadville Area Recreational Center, and much more. Wednesday is our designated field trip day. Your child needs to bring field trip fees to cover the cost. These fees may be slightly higher than the exact cost to ensure adequate staff coverage and transportation. We will leave OLMC at 10 a.m. and not return until 4:30. If you need to drop off/pick up your child during this time, you will need to meet us at the designated field trip spot.
A menu, field trip calendar, and further information will be sent to you in June.
STAFF: Our wonderful staff consists of certified teachers and teacher aides, who will be in charge at all times. College and high school students will join us throughout the day, especially when going on field trips.
TO REGISTER: Complete a registration and emergency form for each child you are enrolling and send it, along with your registration fee, to the school office. (See Attachments) Registration is on a first come, first served basis. To ensure placement in our program, please register early.
